Tim MunizSenior Advisor
Tim Muniz is a Senior Operations Advisor at Kimmeridge and is responsible for internal operational project development and investment evaluation. Mr. Muniz has over 25 years of experience across the upstream and OFS energy sector in exploration, operations, and management-focused roles across several prolific basins including Permian, Williston, DJ and PRB.
Prior to joining Kimmeridge, Mr. Muniz founded and served as a Chief Executive Officer at Impact Exploration and Production, operating in the PRB from 2018 until divesting in 2025. Prior to Impact, he was VP, Operations for Centennial Resources (CDEV) in the Permian (Delaware) Basin in 2013 and through operational excellence successfully exited in 2016 to Silver Run. Prior to CDEV, he was VP, Operations for a public company, GeoResources/G3 Operating where he led operations for the Williston basin from 2007 until being successfully acquired by Halcon Resources in 2012. Earlier in his career, he was in senior leadership roles at both Texas American Resources (upstream company operating in the DJ Basin) and Halliburton (OFS company).
Mr. Muniz holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
