Miguel SandovalVP, Business Development and Land
Miguel Sandoval is a Vice President of Business Development and Land at Kimmeridge, and contributes to the firm’s success in asset transactions and land evaluations. Mr. Sandoval’s current responsibilities include coordination and management of investment opportunity evaluations, M&A&D processes, and asset integration into the Kimmeridge portfolio. He joined Kimmeridge as a Landman shortly after the firm’s founding, in 2012, and throughout his time at Kimmeridge he has directly contributed and managed the aggregation of approximately 1 million net acres of leasehold and several billion dollars of M&A transactions across the firm’s flagship fund investments and renewable energy fund investments. Mr. Sandoval has over 18 years of experience in the energy industry having worked both in the field as a contract landman and in-house in land and business development. Prior to joining Kimmeridge, Miguel worked as a contractor field landman across multiple basins in Texas running leasing, due diligence, curative, and operational field land work projects for various clients including Chesapeake, Linn Energy, and ConocoPhillips.
